I probably would of never read "Of Mice and Men" if it wasn't for my english teacher assigning it to our class. It was a good thing that he assigned it because i read it and actually liked.
This book, set in the snow in the author's Age of Innocence, is completely cozy. The story (first love, some young adult disillusionment) is very simple and told with a simplicity that makes it more poignant and endearing. It relies heavily on the art to tell the story, and each plate is a masterpiece of detail that reveals more and more the longer you look.
