I read this book on a recommendation of some online friends as I was looking to read a book based on a post-nuclear setting. It is based in the 50's. The book wasn't hard to read, but it did lack a punch. It was interesting in its premise, and it was an enjoyable read, but it's definitely a niche book. I would only really recommend this book to someone who's looking for that same post-nuclear bomb setting. Otherwise I think you'll not find anything of much interest in the story.
