Finally getting around to finishing off this series so I can start the others.... I like it so far, just as much as the rest. After reading so much devastating books, it's a good comedy read. I mean, I know there's a huge war and Percy's supposed to be doomed, but you have to admit, the way it's written, through a fifteen-year-old brave goofball's eyes, makes you laugh at every situation, no matter how serious. Finished it. Read about 150 pages in three hours to finish it off. I cried about the last 40 pages, especially when Luke died and he asked Annabeth did she ever love him. I couldn't stop rereading that part and making myself cry more and more every time, so it took twice as long to get past that one chapter. I felt so sorry for Luke. I know he chose to join with Kronos, but he didn't know he was going to be the host for Kronos' spirit. He was scared. He regretted it. He deserved better than that. So yes.... I loved it. Love love loved it. Can't wait to read the next Camp Half-Blood books.
