Si el pobre Cervantes no se pudo ganar la vida como autor teatral, será por algo... No estan mal, pero hay obras en su tiempo mucho mejores.
I struggled to decide whether to give this book two or three stars. I liked the idea to tell the story of a town from two different times, when the town was in its infancy in 1890 and the present time. There were too many characters and I am not even sure what the resolution was for a few such as the prostitute in 1890. I did like several of the characters like Dave Krig, the former basketball star with no self esteem and Franklin Bell, the good natured parole officer. The wierd time travel story was pointless. I think the book would have been better if it was edited down and focused on fewer characters.
So far so good....though I pick up this series in the middle. :/
