I realized after I read this book that I have been reading this series since I was 12, and I still anxiously await each new book. How many series could I say that about? A little let-down by the major cliff-hanger ending (especially considering it might be another 4 years before the next comes out), but overall, I still love these characters.
Surprisingly good. I thought the first book in this series was rather slow (a LOT of travel and searching that goes on and on) but the other two books get progressively better. The weird part about this trilogy is that it's not exactly... in order. The author says she constructed it so that it's an actual triad where you can read any of the three books first and just jump right in. So each of the three focuses on slightly different groups of characters. This one is the best, though, I think.
I used to love this series, but lately I've stalled. maybe it's me, maybe it's the books; either way, I don't enjoy them like I used to.
