I finished this a couple of books ago, but just cannot decide on exactly what to type. I think this is my favorite Vonnegut thus far. I know I'll read the book again soon. I identified with Unk more than with any of the previous characters I've met thru Mr. V...... I've been writing longer than I've been reading Vonnegut, so my developing style is not patterned by Mr. V's style. Yet, in this book I notice more likenesses. That did, I admit, please me. I'm not trying to dig for meaning from this or any Vonnegut story, but I will read it again and edit this with the necessary P.S.......mgc

All time favourite children's book. I still have it memorized.
Interesting concept. Adopted child finds out she's a child of rape; the daughter of the only survivor of a serial killer. O.K. so she's easily manipulated and a little whiney, but all in all a pretty enjoyable story.
