not at all what I was expecting from what I'd read/heard about it...it took me awhile to get into it, and then awhile longer to convince myself to finish reading it. It has a postmodern aspect to it, and I guess it may appeal to some people, but for me, I didn't get the thrill of reading an exciting novel.
