I love Julia Child (as a personality, not chef) and I've also been a disgruntled temp/secretary, so I thought this would be a fun read. It was. Sometimes I even laughed out loud. I just wish I could have related more to the author; our lives were too different for me to feel much of a connection. I also expected to have more fun reading about the cooking experiences, a sort of Food Network in print. Julia's MTAofFC was too full of brains and livers, bones and marrow, for me to derive much pleasure.
