It's taken me three years to finish this, therefore, I won't be finishing it any time soon. I've kind of just lost track of the series...
This was slow-starting and I expected it to be rather ordinary, but as the plot developed I couldn't put it down.
I read this about thirty years ago when I was a teenager. I do not think I could read it today. It would scare the heck out of me. I read it several times because I just could not get my mind around the fact that people were brutally murdered for no reason. Finally, I just had to accept the reason that they were murdered was because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The stories in the book are true, violent, and graphic, and some of them have stayed with me through out the years.
