This is probably my favorite though the reason is probably pretty weak. Reichs quotes Shakespeare's Sonnet LXVI as a means for Tempe's boyfriend to get her out of trouble and it has become my favorite of the sonnets: Tired with all these for restful death I cry, As to behold desert a beggar born, And needy nothing trimmed in jollity, And purest faith unhappily forsworn, And gilded honour shamefully misplaced, And maiden virtue rudely strumpeted, And right perfection wrongfully disgraced, And strength by limping sway disabled And art made tongue-tied by authority, And folly (doctor-like) controlling skill, And simple truth miscalled simplicity, And captive good attending captain ill. Tired with all these, from these would I be gone, Save that to die, I leave my love alone.

Read for Banned Books Week, and because I was embarrassed not to have read it by now.

Eh, this was a bit disappointing. Gorgeous photography and interesting-sounding recipes (even though I don't eat meat), but the one I made didn't leave me really want to make more. Sent back to the library.
