It took me entirely too long to read. Why I decided to read such an epic novel at the time I did boggles me. I enjoyed it immensely. It did drag out in parts but I thought it was great. There are a few things I was not too happy about and didn't understand why he chose to put some of the things he put it but regardless. EPIC!

I think I still want an 'e' added to my middle name...

She knows cats. ;-) I read this when I was on a May Sarton kick. This was one of the few that was a relief from the emotional pain that’s present in so many of her books. It’s truly delightful and I especially recommend it to those who have known at least one cat well, but even cat neophytes or those who are ignorant about cats can appreciate it.

Wow, this book was kinda crazy, but I like it. This book is about a Guardian(werewolf) alpha named Calla from the Nightshade pack who is destined to marry the Guardian alpha Ren, who is from the Bane pack. But then she ends up saving a human named Shay and everything goes awry. Let's start with the bad. There was so much information about all the different creatures that it was kind of hard to follow until they were described in more detail. I also thought the relationship between Calla and her brother Ansel wasn't realistic. Ansel was a little too open about his love life, which was kind of awkward. There were also 3 or 4 characters with names that started with "E", so it was kind of confusing sometimes. Okay, the good. There was a lot of action and a lot of romance. I thought this was a really great story that really made you think. The main characters(Calla, Ren, Shay) were all very likeable, which is good. After I finished the ending, I was a little creeped out. I am really curious as to what is going to happen to everyone since the book was left at a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next one!
