This was a cute book. It didn't really stand out in any way but it was a quick fun read if that's what you are looking for. I found since it was so short (It was more on par to a novella) that the characters were lacking a little. I wasn't able to connect to the main character at all. The main character's best friend made me laugh out loud though. The plot was decent but again, since it was short it felt a little rushed. Overall, if you like teen high school stories with an undead twist I recommend trying it for yourself. If anything, it filled my Z for my 2012 A to Z challenge ;)

The parts by Yukteswar were good, but the translations weren't as good as I'd hoped. I was happy to read that we're not in a Kali (downward) yuga, but one in which spiritual awareness is increasing, that was some unexpected very good news.
