The author gives a very clear view of her life living in the polygamous sect of the Mormon faith. Forced to marry at a very young age and expected to immediately start having children with a man she despises. Despite the fact she is told she can no longer communicate with her family, she decides to leave the only life she has known to venture out into a world which she was taught is evil. This book brought to light a sect of a religion I never really knew much about. But as this is her story alone, it would be interesting to see the other side of the story. Unfortunately, I think it goes against their faith to write an autobiography. If I'm mistaken, please correct me on this. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
