Very enjoyable, quick read. Appealing "based on a true story" premise, set in good old Cleveland, Ohio. "Real problems" without being too gritty.
Really like this book-- even those who don't agree could benefit from reading this with an open mind
Not sure who I leant it to---but one of my all-time favorites!!!
Gives a fascinating tour of early human history, studying why certain populations of people developed food production and political systems before others did, and the implications of the continents being shaped differently and having different amounts of resources. Some parts read somewhat dry like a textbook, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.
