I really wish I could give this book more then 5 stars!! SO FREAKIN GOOD!! Read all 500+ pages in less then a day!!
I just reread Neal Stephenson's "The Diamond Age." When I forst read it, some years ago, I thought it was a fascinating book that explores the impact of technology on societies. I still think that, but it struck me as an even better book than I remembered, full of interesting and exciting ideas as well as an exploration of what a family is and how people as well as societies are stressed and adapt or not as their environments change.
As bella moves to Forks she comes in counter to a very strange guy named Edward. Edward has to make a decision whether he wants to risk it all for her or leave and go far, far away. But towards the end Bella and Edward must face some obstacles in order to be together.
Loved it. Tied up all the loose ends, I cried a little, but all in all I'm very very happy. and cannot wait for the movie.
