I would give this 3.5 stars, if I had half stars. The middle got a little drag-ey, and I started to get bored, and think "wow - I was expecting more from this book". But, then it picked up at the end. It definitely has some funny moments, that made me laugh out loud. And, the ending was perfect. I'll be going to the movie version when it comes out.
I know Julia Moseley and the "Nest" (her pioneer homesite in Florida) is a place I have visited. This book gives a first hand account of pioneer Florida before it was discovered and the inevitable loss of wildlife habitat began.
I read this in the late 70's when chemical assistance was routine. Wacky!
من الإجحاف أن نصف كتاب بإنه سيّء, مقارنة بغيره من كتب الدكتور .. أنا أرى بإن الكتاب جميل , خفيف , ويسبر أغوار شخصية غامضة كسعادة سفير , أحببت وصفه للدكتاتور , أرى بإنّه استطاع أن يصف هذه الفئة جيّداً , ظهر في الكتاب ذكاء القصيبي سياسياً , نظرته للتعامل مع الدبلوماسيين , ومفاتيخهم الشخصية , والعلاقات المقننة بينهم ..
